in fairly short order, thanks to our volunteer cooks.

Two hours earlier: players, having registered, assembled for the start,
this group drew the artificial surface for their first game.
The junior players from St.James club wore their blue caps and experienced the synthetic green for the first time.
Meanwhile, on the 7 rinks of the Norwood grass green the other guests played their first game.

After registering, half had to carry their bowls to the Artificial green, while the others played at Norwood.
Pete had to interrupt the tired players to get them into a "food line" for the BBQ.
The youngest of the Junior members held his own among members from all clubs.
